Folk, Roots, Blues and World Music mixin’ it up for compassionate work

‘Walk A Mile’ is a concert for compassion, celebrating the selfless work given for the benefit of others. 20% of proceeds raised from ‘Walk A Mile’ will be donated to Australian charities SWAGS for Homeless, and With Compassion & Soul to help assist their work.

Featured Performers:

Heather Frahn is an acclaimed singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who presents with deep and mighty vocals. Heather’s lyrics and music promote peace and a global community as part of the Conscious Music Movement.

Chris Finnen is one of Australia's best guitarists in any genre, but he excels when playing the blues. An uplifting performer and South Australian musical treasure.

The Wandering Minstrels combine the divine vocal harmonies of Kira Starseed and Dylan James with a funky and energetic stage presence, and lyrics to inspire your consciousness!

Jigme Namgyal performs original songs about his beloved mother land, Tibet. A master with Tibetan instruments and vocals, he is a performer bound to open your heart.

Sand Mandala, World Music and Song, Laughter, Tibetan Chanting

‘Walk A Mile’ is a concert for compassion which celebrates and thanks the selfless work given for the benefit of others. Our internationally renowned, talented and multicultural Australian musicians often perform selflessly for many charities without thought of reward or gain. Some proceeds from ‘Walk A Mile’ will assist acclaimed artist and Tibetan monk Gen Thupten Khedup from the Gyuto Monastery, to set up his Melbourne meditation centre.

Featured Performers:

Gen Khedup will do a blessing and chanting for the benefit of all sentient beings. Throughout the night he will be creating one of his spectacular Sand Mandalas.
Singer and musician, Jigme Namgyal will perform some of his original songs about his beloved mother land, Tibet.
Heather Frahn is an acclaimed singer songwriter. Her lyrical music promotes peace and a global community as part of the Conscious Music Movement.
Dao is a professional musician who is highly skilled in many instruments that originate from her homeland Vietnam, her sound is mesmerising.
Bronwyn Calcutt, a highly talented international singer and musician who will surprise you with her cabaret style and profound song content.

There will be an auction, with exciting products donated from well known companies.
Cake and refreshments. This is a no alcohol event. CDs will be on sale from our artists.
