Heather Frahn will feature a sonic journey with sound healing instruments at the “Unfold with Yoga & Soundbath” event.  Part of the Wellness Wander Weekend in the Adelaide Hills.

Enhance your wellness by experiencing the healing arts of yoga and soundbath meditation.

Heather is collaborating with Loretta Voivodich, Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and Principal Teacher and Director at Unfold Yoga + Wellbeing

Wellness is dependent on the way we see the world and the experiences we encounter.

This experience at Unfold Yoga + Wellbeing nourishes the mind and body, as you join in community with others.

Our focus is to facilitate a calming yet active time in yoga practice that will allow you to switch off and connect back to yourself, preparing you for the sacred soundbath meditation that follows.

Connect within and create sacred space together.

The combination of yoga and soundbath meditation offers deep relaxation and inner nourishment.

Yoga is a practice that will heighten your senses and nourish your vital health, fitness, and happiness. Guided by Loretta Voivodich (principal teacher of Unfold Yoga + Wellbeing).

You will explore poses designed to both support and energise. The sequence of postures is suitable for those with no yoga experience to enjoy something new, as well as for seasoned yogis wishing to reconnect and bring balance.

Soundbath meditation is a perfect flow after a yoga class, offering a deeply relaxing and restorative experience using sound and music to therapeutically enhance the wellness of mind, body and spirit.

Like a “sonic hug” that gently wraps around you, Heather Frahn seamlessly weaves her soulful vocals with quality sound instruments – creating a masterfully crafted and beautifully immersive sound journey.

The event will run for two and half hours with warming chai tea, cacao, and a small treat of bliss balls to be served afterwards.

Enjoy home made bliss balls, chai tea and cacao drinks following the yoga and soundbath meditation.

I had such a fun day at the Marion Celebrates Festival running my Holistic Sound Therapy stall. I’d never managed my own stall before, so it was a great experience, and I loved it! I met many gracious people during the day who had a mini sound session with me. Some had never even seen a Himalayan Singing Bowl before! So it was a wonderful opportunity for me to introduce them to the healing powers of harmonic sound. Below is a free PDF 2015 Australian course prospectus from the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST). Principal Lyz Cooper, will be visiting Australia for the third time in August to teach a range of their professional diploma courses.

I have been lucky enough to receive professional training and mentoring over the years in Sound Therapy with BAST, as well as others in the USA, UK and Europe in Sound Healing, Holistic Voice, Drum Circles, Gong Therapy, Sound Massage and more.

I can highly recommend the BAST Sound Therapy courses, and advise anyone interested in a career in this field to consider investing in professional training. BAST is also fully recognised by the IICT as a Registered Training Organisation, and all professional training by BAST is recognised by IICT Insurance.

Thanks to Joshua MacCluer from TransVolve, I had the opportunity to be interviewed for their YouTube broadcast channel. I had the chance to talk about the power of conscious music, the transformative energy of sound therapy, and how these can help inspire our world.

Joshua is an amazing guy, being a versatile performer and coach in demand worldwide as a performing musician in a wide range of styles, educator, performance coach, producer and arranger.

Gather in Sacred space and journey deep into your Heart with the music of Heather Frahn, Chris Finnen & The Rising Lotus for an intimate evening concert at the beautiful Unfold Yoga & Wellbeing studio. This is a truly magikal and intimate opportunity to immerse yourself in the healing power of uplifting, inspiring, conscious music with some of Adelaide’s finest musical gems.

When Markandeya played in Byron Bay and Sydney in October last year the crowds LOVED their music and they were begged to come back…so here they are about to launch an Australian tour at OneSpace in Sydney with peformances following Melbourne, Byron Spirit Festival, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Gosford before heading to Indonesia to play Bali Spirit Fest!
